These standard charges are billed to your health insurance company or to you for the services provided at our hospital. The actual charges will depend on variety of factors such as length of time spent in surgery or recovery, the number of days spent in the hospital, specific equipment, supplies and medication required, additional tests ordered by your physician, and/or any unusual special care or unexpected conditions or complications. These charges do not represent your out-of-pocket costs and it does not include physician charges which will be billed to you separately by the physician. If you have health insurance, your out of pocket cost will depend on your individual coverage benefits and usually include deductible, copay, and/or co-insurance. You should contact your health insurance representative for your specific out of pocket costs. If you do not have health insurance, please contact our Patient Financial Service representative at (808) 338-9226 to determine if you qualify for the various financial assistance programs available.
